CHC30708 Certificate III in Children's Services

The Certificate III in Children’s Service is an entry level qualification which will enable you to gain employment and work with children in a child care centres, out-of-school hours care and playground. During the qualification you will learn about children’s development, the important role family and society play in how children develop as well as be given practical input to teach you how to care for and provide play activities to help the development of children in a centre-based facility.
The qualification will be delivered in flexible mode over a 20-week period. A minimum of 100 hours work-based learning must be successfully completed in order to gain the full qualification. Students successfully completing this qualification have the pathway study option of furthering their studies by enrolling in the College’s CHC50908Diploma of Children’s Services (Early childhood education and care).
